Join us at Chesapeake & Maine on Monday, September 21 at 6:30 p.m. for a cocktail-fueled celebration of creativity, community and all things downtown Rehoboth Beach as 10 local restaurants go head-to-head to craft the ultimate cocktail using spirits from Dogfish Head Distilling Co.! Tickets are $45, which includes: Cocktail Samples from all 10 competing restaurants Light bites throughout the evening Complimentary Dogfish Head Distilling Co. spirit samples Access to the People's Choice vote Entry to the silent auction benefiting Rehoboth Main Street Additional Beverages will be available for purchase at the cash bar. Our off-centered race through Milton is back for another incredible year! Join us for our 19th annual Dogfish Dash on Sunday, Sept. 27. This year, all proceeds will go to our friends at the Sussex County Land Trust. Get ready for the same race day you know and love, including the return of our Recycled Costume Contest, plus a walk for the dogs & their humans! Registration is now open for the 5K(ish) run and 3K walk! When: Sunday, Sept. 27 from 9 - 11 a.m. (Psst ... Judging for the Recycled Costume Contest will be at 8 a.m.) Where: Dogfish Head Milton Brewery, 6 Cannery Village Center, Milton, DE 19968 Our off-centered 5K(ish) race is back and we’ll be dashing through the gorgeous town of Milton once again. Plus, there will be a route for our 3K walk, where Dashers are encouraged to bringing their pups. Dashers can register HERE for $50 for runners and $40 for walkers, and the registration fee includes some sweet runner goodies including a t-shirt, a reusable bag, and two beverage tickets (21+ only) for our post-run party. Stick around after the race (& bring your friends) to enjoy our draft beer trailer and activities from Sussex County Land Trust and other partners on-site during our post-run party. Please keep in mind, there will be no packet pick-up on the day of Dogfish Dash! Registered Dashers must pick up their packets at one of our packet pick-up events ahead of Dash day.

Oh my gourd, it's officially the season for all things Punkin Ale! Get ready to celebrate with some exclusive libations, DOGfishies, local vendors and more at our Milton Brewery! Swing by from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. for our annual FREE family and dog friendly event where you can enjoy some amazing local craft vendors and food trucks, Dogfish Head ales & spirits, live music, yard games, a pet photo booth and much more! It's the perfect fall celebration! Live Music We’re amped to share that Trailer Park Casanovas will be taking the stage from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., bringing the heat with your favorite throwback hits from the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s! Then from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., we’re welcoming Delco Donny Band jamming out to your favorite emo/pop punk songs! Little Pumpkin Painting Pick up a little pumpkin for just $5 and let your creativity shine! Available for guests of all ages, these pumpkins can be painted on-site and taken home as a fun keepsake from Punkin Ale Fest. Off-Centered Libations Keep the goodness flowing with plenty of off-centered ales on tap, including the star of the show, Punkin Ale! Plus, our friends from Angry Orchard are joining the party! They’ll be onsite pouring their crisp, refreshing ciders to keep those fall vibes going strong. We'll also have a special Punkin Liqueur cocktail, alongside some non-alcoholic cider options too. At this year's Punkin Ale Fest, meet Harvest of Time, a barrel-aged reimagining of Punkin Ale coming in at 12.4% ABV. This pumpkin barleywine builds on the flavors that made our iconic fall beer a seasonal favorite, taking roasted pumpkins, rich sugars, and warm baking spices on a 20-month rum barrel adventure. Finished with Madagascar vanilla beans, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, it delivers decadent notes of caramelized pumpkin, vanilla, oak, and rum-soaked sweetness. Think of it as Punkin Ale's older, wiser, and a little more spirited cousin, crafted for savoring and celebrating the season. Beer & Benevolence Did we mention the dogs?? This bark-tastic event will benefit the Brandywine Valley SPCA (BVSPCA) who will be on-site with some adoptable canine friends. You can hop into our dog and family friendly photo booth throughout the event that will be entirely donation-based. The Philadelphia Society for the Preservation of Landmarks, AKA PhilaLandmarks, is thrilled to announce the launch of a spirited lecture series coming this fall: Introducing Spirits of Independence, a four-part installment exploring the brews, wines, and spirits that were produced, distributed, and consumed by the people who owned and occupied PhilaLandmarks historic houses: Grumblethorpe, Hill-Physick House, Powel House, and Historic Waynesborough. Tickets (linked below) are available online now for $82/pp per event, or $216 for a bundle ticket to all four events. Must be 21+ to purchase. Each event in the series (October 16, November 20, and December 13) will see a selection of experts, including renowned historian and scholar David Hancock, historical booze enthusiast and author Steven Grasse, scholar and author Jordan Smith, Rare Wine Co.’s Mannie Berk and Aaron Nix-Gomez deliver rousing addresses while guests sip complimentary provided beverages (wine, Madeira, porter and rum) made using colonial-minded recipes produced by makers including My Local Brew Works and Rare Wine Co. “Deeply entwined in the history of Philadelphia – and our country – are the drinks that early civilians produced, imported, exported, and consumed,” said Kayla Anthony, Executive Director of The Philadelphia Society for the Preservation of Landmarks. “We’re grateful to work with beverage partners who bring that experience to life - as accurately as possible - for our guests to enjoy.” Madeira in Colonial America: Henry Hill, who built the house, was a patriot and a Madeira importer. The vast majority of wine imported into colonies during the revolutionary period was Madeira, and this wine was being drunk in homes and taverns across the colonies. Mannie Berk of the Rare Wine Company and Aaron Nix-Gomez have collaborated for nearly 15 years in unraveling the history of Madeira from its earliest days until the present. Their greatest focus has been on how Madeira was purchased and consumed in America in the 18th and 19th centuries, to understand just how it came to be the most coveted wine in this country.
